Probably the same people like the one on here that thinks gay people wanting gay action heroes are dumb for some reason (?) because that's the wrong genre for gay people to be in (??), and acting like gay people who remark that they are tired of reading about gay characters being victims of homophobia in fiction are actually, in fact, commanding others not to write it (???).

I've never seen people say they were mind blowing, just really good or fun books. But I don't tend to spend too much time in their fanbase so I can imagine it might be different with a different crowd.

But honestly the only reason I loved Project Hail Mary so much was because I listened to the audio book and Ray Porter was amazing. The plot is whatever, but he made that book so much fun.

There are two types of shippers....

lol jk there are a million types. But it does crack me up that there are the "he isn't hot enough" type and then the "I will make him hot enough" type, where they either describe something that doesn't resemble the reality at all, or they just suddenly find fat balding middle age men attractive and will describe them in the most loving detail. I love it.

I never thought Kirk was a horndog, just the one who usually stumbled into the sexy action. In that tiresome straight male fantasy way of "ohh I'm just trying to do my job, I'm so noble, and these hot women keep throwing themselves at me!" Yawn. Give me Bones the unapologetic player any day.
