Ah, the waif-fu, too: personally speaking, I never bought the whole "it's empowering!!!" rhetoric he tried to build up around it, but it was at least defensible in his earlier properties before it became excruciatingly obvious that it was just a fetish.
Not that peoples' preferences and desires don't always appear in their art, but it's different when it accents the art (e.g., Tarantino's foot thing leading to scenes being framed differently than they otherwise would have been) versus actively detracts from it (e.g., breaking BW's entire character because of your toxic hangups about women).
