There are plenty of characters and performances out there that will never be considered 'iconic' in the pop culture sense, but still inspired people and/or brought them joy when they needed it the most and/or even saved their lives.

Jealousy over someone you don't know isn't nearly as nonsensical as jealousy over some arbitrary concept of 'iconic'.

I get the impulse to answer this question with a joke about "wherever Putin was born" jokes, but can I ask for genuine answers here only.

If a native Russian speaker wanted to stealth insult a non-native Russian in a way that a Russian would "get" as an insult, but would fly over most non-native's heads, what part of Russia would they imply they sounded like they were from? Where is the part of Russia that Russians tell jokes about being the yokel part, or the backwards and dumb part? Like in British English it used to be "normal for Norfolk", or, more racistly, "a bit Irish", what is the Russian version of that?

Does anyone pair books with certain music?

I'm really terrible at remembering books I read. As soon as they are over, it leaves my brain. So this year, I've tried pairing each book with music to try and help my memory of them. So, I read Cold Moon Over Babylon with The Doors
The Doors, Road of Bones with The Thing OST. Currently reading The Deep and listening to the Under the Skin OST.

Not sure if it will actually help me remember books but we'll see! Does anyone else pair certain books with certain music? What are some of your go to pairings?

So the "Out West" part of Texas is where the big cattle ranches are. What is good area to reference, preferably with a central town of greater than 5-6k people "out west" that could have a big ranch near it?

Also, did people really used to drive those great big white cars with cow horns on them down there? That seems weird to me.
