I used to watch Bud Spencer & Terence Hill movies with my dad. Simpler times ...

But more importantly, there is a Terence Hill gelateria I pass by sometimes. After seeing this secret, I'm now determined to finally check it out and get some ice cream there the next time I'm near.

Sewing Machine Anon

I bought a new sewing machine with a 12” throat space, double the size of my old machine. I hate it. The extra space to the right of the needle is the only thing I like more than the features on my old machine. It has a bunch of issues plus some minor annoyances. But it also cost $4000 so anything less than perfection is unacceptable. I’m going to return it this week even though it’s a bit of a hassle. I know I’ll grow to really hate it if I keep it.

Same! I did attempt to watch Grand Tour and it had some funny bits but something about it just didn’t work for me. I know they changed the format and then again (and maybe again?) but I never went back to it. By the time I was in the mood to give it another try, Amazon had introduced ads into Prime Video unless you pay extra. Fuck that.

Oh that is such a bummer! I hate when you finally 'indulge' and buy the thing only for it to be a flop. I'm glad you're returning it! I know some people who just live with the misery and that always seems silly to me.

Well, I've had to do work today. Because a stupid Arizona court where my client is detained decided to deny my request for a virtual bond hearing last night, after hours (7Pm time there) last night. So I had to find another attorney and get everything set up for her to cover for me. The hearing is monday.

Argh. Absolutely no good reason to deny given that I have two witnesses I wanted to testify and the court insisted witnesses weren't necessary.

Even if he'd survived Maul, all Qui Gon would have done would have meant his eventual death due to being an impediment to Palpatine's plans would have pushed Anakin off the edge faster. He'd have built more of an emotional attachment, and Anakin just could not handle that emotion due to his early upbringing on Tattoine. Qui Gon found him too late to change that. Palpatine just had too much power, and Anakin was too much of a rage-monkey. Only Yoda was in the right about him. Train this hot mess of a kid, do not! Yoda was right!
