(Anonymous) 2025-06-29 09:33 pm (UTC)(link)I also find that in a lot of promoted 'enemies to lovers' stories the characters are barely enemies, they might think each other are dumb but they're pretty much automatically attracted to one another and the conflict of them falling in love is almost non-existent.
In fanfic enemies to lovers will take two characters trying to kill each other, or their families, and speed-run them to feelings without any work to make sense.
