I mean, it's a slice of life show, and you either like that kind of thing or you don't. Some people really enjoy characters living fairly normal lives and dealing with mundane, real-world types of problems. Other people find it boring, and it sounds like you're the latter.

I can see why this is a secret though. If you say "I think this anime is boring," and "this anime" is a slice of life about two girls and the problems that girls commonly face in life, what fans hear is "I think girls are boring."

I do the same thing!! Every now and then I'll read tons of fics in a weekend and then just not pick up fanfic for a while. There's something so cozy about binging fluff fic.

I’ve never been afraid of sharks, I think they’re cool as hell, but deep water I can’t see the bottom of has always wigged me out. My brain just thinks there’s a seas monster or something lurking where I can’t see it, plus I think the rather rational fear of drowning in water that deep kicks in too.

So I get you OP but not the exact same reasons.
