Weekend Plans?

What is everyone doing?

I'm currently on hour 10 of driving to Albuquerque. We are only staying a day but it is good training for the niblings for future trips. Tomorrow we'll be going to the museums in ABQ and Old Town. Then driving back on Sunday. Then I have to drive back on Monday to my house. 🫠

Don't know this specific example, but yes. Stop it. Also goes for "Erasing" / "Setting them back to factory default" / "Computer virus overwrote / Wiped her personality" and all that other bullshit they pull. I will make an allowance for the "Luckily her hard drive survived so we rebuilt her" fakeout but ONLY if it's done in the same instalment. No keeping her dead as a fakeout until the sequel.

I agree. And especially in fantasy/scifi stuff where the author either drew the art or approved of it. I've happily spent a bunch of extra cash on the versions of LOTR, the Hobbit, etc. that have Tolkien's artwork included.

Tomorrow I have a spa appointment in the morning and then we're going to do something here in Chickasaw, Oklahoma (hotel with spa at halfway point). I think maybe a cultural museum? Not sure. Sunday we head home and I finish packing for flying to Seattle on Monday.

OP who are you, and why did you make a secret about the best sitcom ever? This silly sitcom is 100/10, a perfection, second only to When Things Were Rotten and Sledge Hammer. A pearl among UK tv series, a true gem.

This sounds wonderful and like something I should really adopt as a habit.

I’m always disappointed to find that an actor hasn’t done any audiobooks, but some of them have and I should be more willing to try those books outside my normal genres.
