Oh word, I didn't enjoy it when it was all over the fandom in 2012-2014 and I still dislike it now(it's not as common but still there). I won't tell people what to write but I never read them and have anyone that solely writes them this way removed from my Ao3 bookmark for the tag.

I like both-fem!Thorin/Bilbo though, that's fun.

I'm guessing they hit the ugly-cute thing for the people that like them, which I don't see for these but if people want to buy them, like one or two not dozens, then they can do what they want with their money.

I apparently made some kind of mistake on my youtube algorithm watching some Japan travel content, I guess maybe one where the youtuber included Tokyo Disney as something to do while in Tokyo? now my fucking feed is full of extremely awkward Disney Adults who livestream the park parades/fireworks which are the same every week, "review" exclusive food and merch, and sometimes talk about rides. they have entire youtube channels dedicated to a thing that repeats daily/weekly for months and may only vary once per season if not once a year. It's insane. I block them but they keep showing up. I hate knowing that this is a thing.

I think the only fandom I liked this in was Stargate Atlantis when it was temporary due to wacky Ancient hijinks. And that was equal opportunity for who was the genderfuckery recipient.
