I'm the original poster of the secret that number one is based on. No, I haven't told the person it was aimed towards yet, and I'm not sure that I ever intend to. That person isn't actually a fandom friend--we knew each other for years in real life before we graduated high school a couple years back and went our separate ways. We're both in college out of state, so the only time we ever interact anymore is in a purely fandom setting. That person and I have never been terribly close, but lately they've been posting a slew of comments to my personal journal, all overly-critical of me. I made that secret as a way to vent my frustration at the person in a non-confrontational way. I've never been good at showing my true feelings, so this was a good way to get it out there, since the person frequents this community. They'll never know that it's about them, but at least I know that they saw it.

Oh, and 12? I'm the same way. The anime SUCKED in comparison to the manga.
