1. I'm only afraid to admit that I'm a Naruto fan on my college campus, because most of the anime fans here at my school are horrifying, immature, squeaking fangirls with atrocious acne. They also have bad reputation as students...(I know some, and they're pretty decent artists. But some I've seen...you kinda wonder how they even thought they could possibly make it as an artist...). I'd never be able to raise my head at school again e_e

2. I think I know who you are, but I'm not terribly sure XD (And if I got it wrong, my apologies XD;)

12. I never was really into Teen Titans, but I like both pairings because I like both of the girls XD Terra was just too cool D: AND BEAST BOY DOESN'T GET ENOUGH LOVE, DAMMIT DX Why does he not get any attention unless he's with another character?! DX

13. I have a similar problem; all I can draw well are comics, because my style is so awkward and ugly and constricted that I can't draw full-body posed people well at all, pretty OR ugly D: I know how you feel ._.

1. I guess one possible reason could be that they don't want to look like a bandwagon sheep? Or maybe they don't want to be associated with a fandom that's full of really bad fangirling?

I dunno, I don't particularly care. I love Naruto, but I'm cautious enough about the fandom to know when to not participate XD

I was in a similar situation. I was a BIG anime loser fangirl for 10 years, and then my interest started dwindling, but I kept watching through the Valley of the End (ohgod Kishimoto, couldn't you have shot me? Quicker, less painful. AUGH.) After that...I was pretty much off anime, and have been ever since XD I still love my old favorites, but I didn't even bother to pick up Naruto again.

...

Then Shippuuden came out. And the intro was SO INCREDIBLE. ...And I promptly got reobsessed, approximately 2 years after first doing so XD;

Aww XD; I think we all have our old favourites that we base new stuff off from, which, y'know, kind of determines how we think of new things. But yeah.

Ohman, just the artwork alone for Shippuden grabs my attention. The opening sequence, the ending, the style, everything is so much more mature and well done, how can I NOT get back into it? XD

13. I have a very similar problem, except I can't draw chibis. Those of my drawings that are meant to look manly or ugly have a severe lack of balls (figuratively speaking) most of the time. Also; Thrall = ♥

Indeed. I can't watch anime anymore without laughing at how ridiculous it can be XD;;;;

I rewatch the intro again every once in a while... It still gives me chills o_o The voice acting is SO AWESOME DX And the music is so unbelievably gorgeous and painful and perfect ♥ That whole first 10 minutes is just...GUH. Amazing!
Ahh, the best fandoms are the ones you can make fun of but love anyway XD
