I recognize the name Celebrian but am grateful to have never read it. I don't know the details of Agony in Pink, but I'm hoping it's not that Lucius/Draco/Hagrid story with the umbrella. But oh god, why did you have to reference Artemis's Lover? I had put the horror of that one out of my head! D:

Nah, Agony in Pink is a Power Rangers fic in which Kimberly is brutally tortured to death. While there's not sex so much as gore, the author was clearly fapping.

That sounds pretty bad. Not as bad as the Lucius/Draco skullfucking, but bad.

Aah, I may have heard of that one after all. Thankfully, it's not a fandom of mine and so I've been able to avoid it.

Lucius/Draco skull fucking was pretty bad, but the one with Hagrid and his umbrella, if I recall correctly, involved Lucius forcing Hagrid to dress like a schoolgirl, bending him over Lucius' knees, and spanking him with the umbrella over his panties while sucking off Draco (who was what, 13? 14? in this? it's been too long - forgive me for not getting the details fully accurate). Before fucking Hagrid himself, of course.

Which still doesn't compare to the Peter/Draco story to my mind though. You know - the one where Peter changes into rat form and crawls inside Draco to fuck him that way? It wasn't as popular as the dead!James/Harry one, but that one is just a fandom classic.

You know, now I think of it, Harry Potter fandom was seriously messed up. And I say that now as a member of the Supernatural fandom! Why Draco was so often at the epicenter of squick fic is another mystery to me. Poor boy probably needs fandom therapy after all this.

Oh yes, I remember dead!James/Harry. And there was one where Hermione fucked Harry's fresh corpse in order to get herself pregnant. Harry Potter fandom was definitely fucked up, but I think it's mostly due to being such a gigantic fandom.

Wow, I somehow miraculously managed to avoid the Hermione one. And yeah, size probably had something to do with it, but if I recall correctly, there was a comm specifically devoted to writing horrible fanfiction designed to squick all readers and that was where the majority of the really impressive badfic came from.

And quite probably! I'm pretty sure I dabbled with GAFF in 2001 or 2002, back when I was at the height of my Harry Potter fan craze.

Hmm, what first comes to mind is hp_squick, but that seems less intentionally-horrible-to-squick-people and more I-know-this-will-squick-a-lot-of-people-but-I-like-it-so-let's-celebrate-it.

That's awesome! GAFF sadly finally blew up for good about this time last year, but survives somewhat in spirit over at Why, God, Why? (http://www.whygodwhy.org) (after a bizarre troll-board interlude nightmare).

I think 2001-2002 was the height of my HP fan craze too, right when I first discovered fic (and then slash, and then slash PORN, all in rapid succession).
