1. Aye, same here. I've come up with a couple dozen excuses to use when asked why I've never been to a convention, but the sad reality is that I'm just too lazy.

4. I wanted to join that game, but after my application sat there for a month while others were getting accepted, I..lost interest. :x I feel bad because it really did look like fun, but yeah.

Heh, I just get over that by writing my own, but I realise not everyone will/can do that. Maybe that's why I don't mind the small fandoms as much.

Actually, for most of the small fandoms I'm in, it's not lonely, because everyone knows each other. It's really tightly knit. It's a different feeling to being in a big fandom. But that might just be because of the fandoms I'm involved with.

12. But the problem with my smaller fandoms is that I end up reading ALL the fic that exists, and then there's nothing left. :( At least big fandoms have tons of stuff, even if you do have to wade through a lot of crap to get to anything good.

Perhaps it's different with readers vs writers, because I write far more than I read, I have to admit. But then I've all but started a couple of fandoms so it's not surprising. *shrugs*
