Omi is the team leader. Stated in black and white in An Assassin and White Shaman. And even if it wasn't, there's plenty of canon evidence to suggest that Omi is in fact the team leader, and only blatant fangirl favoritism (and Koyasu's blatant favoritism and tendency to Gary Stu Aya up but good from time to time) to suggest that Aya is. But no, Omi is very definitely Weiss's leader. Aya joined last, is almost completely unreliable, and is blatantly using the rest of the team to further his own motives - there's no way he's in charge. Furthermore, he wouldn't even want to be.

Yeah, I think too much about this show. I know it's stupid, but I just can't seem to kick the habit. Ah, Weiss Kreuz, IF ONLY I KNEW HOW TO QUIT YOU.

Aya is the main character. Main character gets to be leader. Omi gets the tech shit, and then they rely on Aya to be the big killer hero. Whether the title belongs to him or not, he's the big cheese.

Also, Gluhen was shit, and applying it to other things makes Schu's bowler hat canon.

I always thought Aya was the leader.

I actually have to agree re: snark. Moments of fluffy happiness are few and far between when the realtionship is between Rufus and Reeve. The number one theme I use for them is One Week, by the Barenaked Ladies. The verses themselves are pretty much nonsense, but the chorus itself is perfect for them.

The idea of working in a coffee shop makes my inner Reeve happy (though my inner Rufus is less thrilled about it). *__* He always wanted to work at Golden Saucer. As an anamatronics programmer, mind, not a coffeeshop attendant. X3

3. It's so annoying to have the glasses slip off your face. D: I'm not sure if it's because they're crooked or it's because I have a strangely shaped nose but I have to do that all the time (twice in the time that it's taken me to write this far) and it sucks.

Um, how can I put this but No? Aya may be the main character, but that does not make him the leader. Plenty of main characters are not team leaders - Naruto isn't the leader of Team Seven, for a start - though many more are. Aya is not one of them. Certainly not when it is explicitly stated in series canon that he is not the team leader and, while Omi is still in the picture, he never will be. He may look like the team leader if you don't look too closely, but I'd be inclined to take an actual printed statement that he wasn't over 'but he's got a big sword'. Sorry.

A lot of people do, but trust me: he isn't. Leader!Aya is fanon, but it's one of those fanon conventions that gets everywhere...

Weiss is an extremely shitty anime made to suck the mental dicks of some overpaid voice actors. They say "Hey Aya, you just got here. Omi's the leader now lol", and then for THE ENTIRE SHOW they're like "lol omg Aya wut should we do u no everything u go do it HE GON DO IT watch Aya he so gud no 1 need us just heem ps Ken y r u even here', and such things.

From someone else who's incurably guilty of thinking too much about that show: I think I love you ♥ Being that Omi is my favorite character and he's constantly fandom-butchered into a whiny and helpless manbitch, the whole "Aya is the leader LOLZ" tends to annoy me every time I see it.

I do like canon Aya, but the fanon renditions of every one of them should be set on fire. After being doused in gasoline.

I really really love Cid/Shera, but I have NEVER been able to stomach the crazy abusive!Cid/submissive!Shera thing. Yes, she followed him in FFVII and served him, but that's because SHE felt the obligation to help him, after she ruined his dream. Cid wanted her GONE, I don't think he was too keen on seeing her, let alone playing top to her.

I just don't think they're a sadomasochistic couple at all. I don't think they so much as kissed during that "I hate your guts, Shera" phase.

I ship post-FFVII Cid/Shera because of them fixing their relationship. And they obviously did, to get married in DOC, but I mean, damn. He must have felt like a guilty, HORRIBLE asshole after the truth came out - sure, Cid's rough around the edges, but he isn't a jerk by default to people. I DEFINITELY wouldn't call him abusive.

Most Cid/Shera is just tripe.
