8. I've cosplayed my idol. I'm a girl, I'm short, and I'm not near as beautiful as the man I dressed up as, but you know what? Just being in the costume was enough. I may be good at what I do, but even I think elitists should shut the fuck up when someone is putting their heart into a costume.

Go for it, I say. And as far as hair goes, check a costume store for sales or bargain wigs (if you don't have any money like me) and see if you can't find something decent. And if people aren't happy with the end result, who cares? If you're happy that's all that matters.
