I understand that that's not the reaction people want. I just find it highly unrealistic of them to get bent out of shape when someone comes away feeling that way. I find it ridiculous that people seem to think they can get others to not have any kind of a defensive reaction, simply because ideally they wouldn't. That is the one and only thing that makes me uncomfortable about *fails. Sadly, sometimes if you say as much, you are accused of not checking privilege even then.
