Yeah, okay, I did go into it half-cocked. A little more thought would have gone a lot farther if I'd just said that any kind of love would have been necessary to keep Jesus connected to the people he worked with, not just romantic. (in my own defense, I wasn't even thinking about the sex so much as the interpersonal connection you get with another human being when you are in a relationship, but since we were talking ABOUT shipping, naturally, that's where it leads.)
