jksdih that is so cool. the man I met (a friend of my psychology teacher at the time) associated syllables/sounds to colors, things with a strong 'A' sound (like in 'hat') would make things pink, and the colors would sort of 'mix' from there, flashing/morphing by in pattern with the syllables. He did say certain words produced colors, but he wasn't sure if that was because they were so common that he's just associated the colors with those syllables so many times that it's its own color by now, or if that's just the way it was. He did notice that strong vowels were warmer, brighter colors and that more guttural sounds were darker/murkier. I explained to us some of our names in terms of color and oh man so cool. My name was sort of a pinkish/minty green with some yellow and I'm not even gonna lie to you, I started playing with that color scheme for WEEKS afterwards hahah. Just... so cool.
