Most creatures are pretty slippery on the inside, actually, but the rectum isn't the problem here; the anus is the only limiting factor. If the sphincter muscle is relaxed enough (like from the effects of alcohol, as the secretmaker mentioned) then a small but steady supply of sweat could be sufficient. Not to mention, if the secretmaker is female, then her vaginal lubrication could have easily traveled a few scant inches.
