I totaly felt that way too at first. The fans made me want to avoid it with a 200ft pole. but then I decided to give it a chance, since I do love kouga yun so much, especialy earthian and gestalt. now I really like loveless, not more then anything else, but I enjoy it. not for the cat boys. not for ritsuka soubi, not for the yaoi shota what have you. but for the pure fact that nearly evoryone in that series is seriously mentaly abused. I like the emotion.

and yes! ritsuka x soubi is not true love ! >.<

I never saw the difrence much. but then, I still go by the old old standard of yaoi is just the japanese vr of PWP. plot? what plot? its a doujinshi term. there is no such thing is original yaoi. its all called BL or boys love. and then theres shounen ai.

both can be good, and both can be bad. both have there scarry people.

1. I don't feel that way about FMA, but there are series I do feel that way about (Code Geass, Yakitate Japan...) Liking a ship doesn't necessarily mean dishonoring the series though.

4. Well excuse me for liking Loveless. If you hate a fandom stay away from it, like I do with many.

And for the record, Earthian is awesome, but I still like Loveless better. Each to their own opinion, but there's no need to spit on mine. =/

4. Loveless fangirls are scaaaaarrry. Someone at a con got maimed by them because she got the last copy of volume two. x_____x;; It doesn't stop me from liking the series for the story. And the art, because that's some damn gorgeous art.

4. I do heart Loveless, and I do want to figure out what's going on past the anime (I haven't caught up with the English manga releases yet), and I do have a soft spot for Soubi/Ritsuka, but I'll take Earthian and the utterly messed up yet so normal dynamic between Michael and Raphael. Never been a fan of Chihaya though - I just don't like those incredibly innocent and naive characters. I think I love Rituka because he's so young yet so jaded. I'd never want that to happen to a kid in real life, but it is interesting to watch in fiction.
