I've been a bit shy about finding Kuroshitsuji fics, because I'm not interested in smut and the tone of the canon just makes me think it's gonna be hard to find (good) fic without it. I hope to be proven wrong. I'm looking for two things, but there can easily be overlap. First off is trio friendship!Sebastian/Ciel/Lizzie. I've been looking for this ever since I realized that me and my two best friends are a lot like them. (This seriously needs to be friendship and not a pairing.) The other thing I want is a good AU. Doesn't have to be a modern AU, either. Long fic is nice, but not necessary. (If it's an AU where the dynamics are decidedly different, Alois having decided that he's Ciel's best friend is a plus.)

I read somewhere on TV Tropes that AUs of Tamora Pierce's Tortall universe often had Alanna going to the convent and learn to become a lady. Can anyone recommend a good one? Where she doesn't just become a lady, but keeps that fighting spirit of hers? (And for the love of my childhood, no smut.)
