Do you mean zombies as coherent main characters that aren't trying to kill everything in sight? Admittedly I haven't seen much of that. I've seen characters brought back from the dead but with fully functional non-rotting bodies, so most of them aren't considered zombies. I love things like Left 4 Dead but having some fully functional and non-violent zombie characters in more media would be pretty neat.
