But how is the show responsible? Because they showed a stereotyped gay male? So, if OP's friends happened to meet a stereotyped gay guy in real life and then they started to treat OP differently, it would have been the guy's fault? It doesn't makes any sense. The way the show portraits a minority is just a way that some people are, in fact, and just because some people watch it and assume that [i]every person[/i] of said minority must be that way, it's not their fault.
(assuming, of course, that there is no line or scene in the show that applies that "every gay male is like Kurt", because, at least from what I watched, there isn't nothing like this)
