Well then! ♥ at you, and then a question: have you ever seen The West Wing? Lots of older people in that, and just about all of them are written with a good amount of depth and class. Of course some of them fit the "elder statesman" role (see: Jed Bartlet, the president), but they are usually a lot more than that.

I think you'd like the scenes where President Bartlet and Doctor Bartlet are getting it on. THEY ARE SO CUTE TOGETHER.
