What in fandom interests me: Good fic, pretty art, icons, RP (yeah, I'm one of those people who enjoys pretendy funtimes), discussions/theorizing.
What in fandom does NOT interest me: Slash, wank, badfic, shipping real people at all, attention whores, fanbrats, people who bitch out other people because they're not into their fandoms, people who don't get the hint and keep going on and on about shit I don't like after I make it clear I don't expect to have to listen to that crap.
Major Non-fandom Interests: Psychology, photography/vintage cameras, football (soccer), history, dance, astronomy.
My LJ Contains Mostly: Mundane crap about life, when I remember to update. I'm a busy person. I'm a full-time college student, and a musician, and I work at GameStop which is a life in and of itself sometimes. It's all locked. I'm pretty selective about who sees it.
Other: I'm not very hard to get along with but I find that people have problems with the level of ... uh, frank-ness I tend to have. I have no problem telling people when they're being absurd. If you can't be an adult and handle that ... we probably shouldn't be friends.

I mostly vid for Utena fandom, but I have dabbled in other fandoms as well. (Used to have some pretty popular FMA AMVs before my old youtube account was hosed for copyright infringement and am too embarrassed by my old videos to repost them) I like cross-fandom AMVs, and I've done in recent years some Ergo Proxy, Death Note, Utena, Fullmetal Alchemist and pan-fandom vids (Ayakashi, Ghost in the shell, Chevalier D'eon, Haibane Renmei, etc) Amvs are one of those things I tend to pick up again every couple of months and spend a ridiculous amount of time on one short project, then I leave it alone again. But yeah, there's something I find indescribably awesome about video editing in general that's just so satisfying.
