I find that some people who complain vehemently about Twilight seem to have a very narrow view of what they see as being a good way to write vampires.

Sure, I have my preferences about what kind of vampires I like to watch and read about, too, and I think it can be fair to criticize a particular writer's interpretation of vampires, but there's definitely not one correct vampire mythos.
