As far as the shipping goes. I like Ron/Hermione, though I also like other couples with either Ron or Hermione. (I really don't get the 'exclusive' shipping so many people seem to experience.) Maybe she could've gotten someone better, but I think the reason is that it was coming on from SO LONG. I agree :). I ship Ron/Hermione mostly cause I saw it coming as a kid and it was kind of my first ship so I have a big emotional attachment to it, but I also like Ron with Luna (which unfortunately is usually lumped with H/Hr, which I don't have a problem with and don't ship) and Hermione with Neville (the only ship out of the "sextet" of Harry, Ron, Hermione, Neville, Ginny and Luna that some people haven't even heard of and possibly the rarest boy to pair Hermione with). I multiship a lot in HP- probably just cause there are SO MANY CHARACTERS, you know? And it's fun seeing their dynamic with different characters; I like my ships for different reasons.
