I don't see that at all? In fact, one of the reasons there's so much wank is that you can't form a proper clique. Because even if your friend has mostly same opinions as you do, they'll have one that's totally different and that you'll debate ad nauseam :) Stop lurking, start talking, see where it takes you. LJ accounts at least are easy to delete.
