I'm assuming you must have been involved in some way with the aircraft industry/field. If not, I'm sorry for misunderstanding. I've had my share of airplanes, though nothing close to combat, but I know right off the bat it's boring if any story decides to present in a realistic light.

I just didn't like it. The story moved too slow.
