Yeah, but-- well I have seen some people defend the misogyny in canon text, and in the fandom, but the official forums are actually pretty strict on not allowing people to use gendered insults or sexist language when they aren't like writing fanfic or obviously repeating a meme from the canon. :\;; Ditto on homophobia, I have seen people get shot down hard for it all over this fandom.

Which is why I like this fandom. The heterosexism and misogyny are there, but they aren't stood for, for the most part!
