I live in the ass-end of nowhere, I'm too broke-ass to move, I don't drive (and would be too broke-ass to drive if I did), and almost all of my online friends (or potential love interests, as the case may be) are hundreds -- even thousands -- of miles away. It's ... depressing, especially considering that this particular city is (officially!) one of the worst for singles in the country.
