I would, but a) I haven't got nearly enough time on my hands and b) Even so I just somehow couldn't bring myself to try. I'd be terrified of writing something cataclysmically disastrous.

Not the OP, but I have to ask.

Why is it that as soon as someone mentions something about gay people (or something negative enough for someone to never ever say out loud) everybody assumes "TROLL?" No one's secretly allowed to hate gay people without being a troll?

Your logic confuses and annoys me.

Honestly, I know so many ugly, gross people with irritating personalities and poor hygiene who have have about a gaziilion times more sex than my most gorgeous rl friends. Everyone wants to have sex, about about 97.34987% of the world's adult population has HAD sex. It's not really that hard to do- *SO* many people will have sex with anyone.

Really, I don't get what's with all these: "all my fandom friends are fat ugly hos, only I am good looking" secrets. I too think I'm the sexiest girl in fandom, but that's only because I'm an egocentric bitch.

Oh, you're allowed to hate gay people. But "omfg get them outta my fandom" is retarded elitist bullshit and we're allowed to think they're an idiot for saying it.

Because there's been a bunch of these already. Why post a secret of something that's just a repeat of previous secrets? If you need to post a secret along the lines of those, at least have something interesting to say about it (such as why you hate gay people).

I think it's just the fact that no one's saying, 'Hey, straight people GTFO of my fandom!'

Hahhaah, and it's really easy to get laid. Seriously, anywhere from the internet to a club or a bar or a party or school or whut, people act like sex is some sacred thing that only hot people do :O and omg guess what? Ugly people score with good looking people ALL THE TIME! ~~especially ugly guys with hot chicks~~

I think people think everyone is ugly in the right light (ie: drinking haterade). For example, people will worship movie stars and fap to their beauty but one look at them without make up and they laugh and point and go LOL UGLY. Or how about people who make fun of Britney Spears these days calling her ugly? :D No, she's just gotten enough media exposure that people have seen her as an ordinary person, outside of uh...music videos, video awards...and uh...non-pregnant gross cheetohness. BUT NOW IT'S ALL CHANGED.

Also beauty IS in the eye of the beholder ;D

Because every single time someone's posted "I hate slash/yaoi fangirls/anything related to gay people" there has been abysmal amounts of wank. If you don't want to stir shit up then you should at least explain yourself a bit in your secret.

The way it's worded, to me, sounds like this one is just trying to induce arguments. =|

They haven't seen them. They're lazy. They don't want to. The secret was made in a fit of anger. They don't care what you think, they just wanted to get it out. I'm not the maker so I don't know, but all of those /could/ be valid reasons.

Two complimentary reasons:

1: They're posting in a place they know will respond badly to such a secret. It's kind of obvious saying such a thing will cause wank.

2: LJ's so wank-paranoid these days, it seems customary to call troll whenever a wank-possibility rears it's ugly so no one looks stupid if it's revealed to be a troll after all.

Also:

2.5: In the occasion that the OP WAS completely serious, it's a way of devaluing her/his opinion.

OR AT LEAST THAT'S WHAT I'M GUESSING. Troll accusations are overused and abused.

Because it's been said before, and I do know for a fact that there are people here who like to make fake trollish secrets just for the lulz.

8 - YES. That was one of the big reasons I stopped reading WK fics.

9 - I feel cooler when I eat them now. Hahaha.

20 - There's nothing a man is sexier in than a Nazi uniform. Oh yeah. And before anyone wanks, I don't support the regime...but those uniforms are hot.

Oh! You even recognized Yukino, too? So far I haven't found many other MH fans, so it's thrilling to find more!

I wish I could do something about the lack of time, but I seriously doubt whatever you wrote would end up a cataclysic disater! You seem to be a well-spoken person with a sense of what they'd be getting into by writing Monster-related works, and I think that can really make all the difference sometimes. You'd already be aware of and would respect the fact that writing for it would require a lot of work, which would probably result in a well-thought out story that pays attention to canon. So don't worry, I'm not seeing any potential for disaster! XD
