I started hanging out with a bunch of gamer guys recently. I didn't hide that I'm a raging fujoshi. They've all been really cool about it. Some were fascinated. Some tease me in a good natured way. Some actually share my interest. So I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Also, as previously stated , there's no requirement that new people know EVERYTHING about you. You can be geeky without being fujoshi.
