yep, you're right. my japanese husband has just been trolling me all these years. he is clearly repulsed by my dirty black skin and hates me with every fiber of my dirty black being. same goes for every japanese person who has ever spoken to me and befriended/dated me.

in other words: fuck off. yes, there might be those who are racist against those who aren't japanese. but the average japanese person is *gasp* friendly. the average japanese person doesn't hate black people at all. they might be interested or even confused by our appearance, but i'm not going to be offended by that just because they aren't used to those who aren't japanese. it's that sort of bullshit stereotyping that makes everyone look bad. "oh don't worry about going to japan, they're all racists who hate blacks". pfft fuck that shit. i'm not claiming there aren't people who haven't had problems with racism, but it's not as widespread as westerners seem to claim it is.
