Late to the party, but whatever: I say bullshit! A japanese living in Japan is of course privileged. A white in Japan? Is not. A Japanese in the US is not privileged, someone white is. Seems pretty easy to me, since beeing privileged means belonging to the Status quo, to get chances other people won't and to get treated better because of your heritage. How can anyone say this doesn't include a Japanese in Japan?
