idgaf what color a character is in a show. the character should be cast properly, regardless of race. i think it's stupid to MAKE a character any specific ethnicity or culture or anything similar because then you are JUST doing it to pander to a minority's wishes instead of for the quality of the show. if a character works as black/asian/a little green man then go for it, but don't delude yourself into thinking forcing token minorities into fiction is any sort of good idea. looooooool. it's MUCH better to not have a black character at all than to have a poorly written one that the writer(s) struggle developing because the original personality just doesn't match the actor and they HAD TO HIRE a black actor because OMG DIVERSITY MUST BE FORCED. diversity should be natural you moron.
