Look, people have been known to ship fictional or real people who are "obviously" of the wrong sexual orientation, platonic, related, underage, cartoon, have never even met, etc. etc. etc. etc. Whether or not you or I see the slashiness in this particular relationship, there are elements in it that make it much more sensible than some other ones I've (and surely you must admit, you've) seen. Relatively speaking, this example is entirely mild and does not deserve the OP's criticism.
