This is a very strange viewpoint and you should probably try to calm down. There's nothing wrong with dying your hair. Sometimes you just want to dye your hair, not lie to the masses. I'm a natural blonde who either is pink, orange, or incredibly dark brunette, depending on my mood.

The thing about SJ, so far as I know, is that it is intended to make places safe for everyone. But places where it exists are so intolerant and nasty to anyone who missteps that they've become safe only for SJWs. Who are dicks in a dick measuring contest.

For the most part, I'm too scared to say anything on that site, because I like the pictures, but not the holier than thou, we can never be happy about getting nice things like gay characters, death to those who oppose us attitude.

I feel like you missed every childhood message that said something to the effect of "To me you're _______ by being you, even if you're not ________ like everyone else." Those phrases you mentioned effectively mean the same thing, except Jade's indicates that they actually have a common sense of style.

I'm not contesting that FB is popular, because I know it is. But I can't believe it's more popular in America than Sailor Moon. I mean, the Sailor Moon and Sailor V manga ranked #1 and #2 on the New York Times Bestseller's list this year -- the very fact that Sailor Moon DID get a re-release shows how popular it is. IMHO.

And I doubt the lack of release of Codename Sailor V had anything to do with a lack of popularity. It was probably more like Mixxx/Tokyopop was stupid and didn't bother (I mean, they did a shitty job with the Sailor Moon manga, so).

I agree, SM wasn't as popular as it ~could have been, for the reasons you stated, but that's the price that was paid for it being the first big anime/manga to make it big in the US.
