4. I love wacky non-canon things. I even enjoy many pairings that have never or rarely spoken to each other in canon. (Yuffie/Kairi and Seifer/Namine are my currents.) But I draw the line at totally random crap, such as characters who are canonically serious and dedicated to their work suddenly becoming fluffy with random character they never met, cooing about how that person is their world

That's where I say, wtf CANON??

I love AU and I love what-if. I love creativity! I don't love complete disregard of the source material and bastardization of characters. :\ GTFO. Write crappy origfic instead of crappy "fanfic" about characters with no relation to their canon versions, so it's like origfic with fandom names pastede on yay.

But even though I wield canon as a weapon, the worst of all are the fans who insist "MY pairing is canon!!" like that makes them better than the rest of fandom -- and it isn't canon, so their insistences just make them sound desperate. Your pairing isn't canon. It's okay. Just get off your high horse and you'll see that the ground is safe to stand on.

6. I feel your pain. ;_; This pairing would have been really cute, but it feels weird to ship them now that I know that he was supposed to be gay and they "rewrote" him straight under pressure.

11. I want to make video games, but I sure as hell am not going to live in my mom's basement and starve for ten years while I do it. Welcome to the real world, where you work for a living, and do what you love on the side, waiting for the day when you can make a living doing what you love.

22. Well, rep is important, because it measure a lot of-- I kinda do too.

Scryers sux lawl.

23. Conventions are SO overrated.
