Well that's not true. Lots of people are still following FS on LJ, and would receive comment notifications from LJFS that DWFS has updated. They don't need to have a DW account to read and comment, so the community here still holds a purpose in that it's a convenient update notifier.

It also houses all the comments from 5+ years of posts! I can't import the comments over at all because LJ has messed with their comment system that much, but it seems a shame to delete the archives.
