In this old fandom I was in innards ago, the main comm was mostly self-policed. We also had a sister comm for admit fanwork. Anywho, I remember I used to get pretty upset when this one person kept cross posting their porn to the main sfw comm (despite being one of their fans on the other comm).

I'm just saying I would have appreciated a mod that gave a shit.

I have this issue sometimes. I'm not too hyperfocused on the unlikely scenerios but I do have trouble emotionally connecting with characters to the point where they bring me to tears.

Well I wouldn't go so far as to do any tit-kicking but I do share your frustrations. I'm asexual so the pr0nz does nothing for me but make me eyeroll at how OOC it all is.

YES. I was going to comment on the secret itself, but what the hell, this works too. I just read Everything is Illuminated by Jonathan Safran Foer, which has a main character named Jonathan Safran Foer. It's ostensibly fiction. I hated that book for many, many reasons, but that was just the heavy-handed cherry on the pretentious, self-indulgent sundae.

That's not exactly a Glee specific problem. Porn authors get all the love and attention these days. There are still plenty of people reading gen or porn-free stories, you just probably will never be super duper popular or get the most comments or anything.

I don't cry at films, but that one made me weep like a baby (I had to pause it for ten minutes, I was crying so hard). You don't really need to get too invested in the characters, either, because most of them are dogs :P

Thank god I'm not the only one who never saw the chemistry between Sheldon/Penny. I love them as friends and their banter is cute but romantically? I see nothing. This is one case where opposites do not attract.

Plus I found it so jarring that they used Zuko's voice actor. Why would they do that? I know he's Zuko's grandson but we could figure that much even without the same VA. I even started calling him Zuko 2.0 in the season finale, and I don't think that's a good thing.

Part of what bugs me and I forgot to put in the secret is that it's not a common condition, but people seem to just want to tack it on to every flexible character.

I agree so much. I have a lot of respect for Stephen Fry, for so many things. I've been a fan of his for ages, but some of his views regarding women just piss me off. It's so much more frustrating when someone as intelligent as he us comes out with such misogynistic things too.

I could guess from the moment we saw him, before he spoke, that he was in some way related to Zuko. You don't need the same voice actor.

Or, at least if you want to use the same voice actor, you could at least ask him to do some small variation to make it sound a little different. No offspring sounds identical to one of their parents. He sounded exactly the same as when he voiced Zuko!

I can understand being a little put off by smoking as it's unhealthy and such... But unless it's explicitly stated in canon that the character isn't a smoker, I'd say that smoking is free game. Especially in an AU. So... I'm confused?

and I really don't have anybody to talk to about this. TL;DR incoming.

I fear that my obsession is becoming unhealthy. I check his IMDb page every morning after waking up and several times a day. I always worry about what other people think of him, of his other fans, of me for liking him, of the movies he's starred him, of the movies he's going to star in, etc.
I don't feel excited for anything except his upcoming movies.
Whenever I read people saying bad things about him or his movies I feel depressed and it sometimes translates to a physical pain in my chest.

I understand that it's cool that different people like different things and I don't hate people who don't like him, but I still feel bad.
I want it to stop because it's having a negative impact on my mood. What should I do?
