It's okay, OP. You like what you like. As long as you're not bashing anything/anybody, you're just as good of an addition to fandom as anybody.

Also, FYI: interests change. I've been in fandom for close to thirty years, and trust me, I've changed a lot without meaning to. There's nothing wrong with just pursuing the things you like and enjoy.
