You may be boring in fandom (in the not-bringing-anything-new-to-the-fandom way), but on the plus side most of media is catering directly to your personal likes (het and a white/assumed to be white cast, and I'm assuming you're white here since you said you enjoy shoujo manga and prefer to read about people of your own race and you're not on a Japanese forum). Which kinda makes me wonder why you're complaining since you could just watch/read your canon and discuss and squee over this canon and judge the hell out of people who stray from canon like so many canon enthusiasts do. You get your likes served to you on a shiny silver platter. You should consider yourself lucky. (And don't try to feed me that "It's so haaaard to like het because nobody else does!" bull, because there's so many people like that out there.)
