5. When will people learn to start using hosts that don't break? Seriously, if you want people to see your secret (which, I assume you do.) imageshack and tinypic, anyone?
6. I always associate bad writers with FF.net, too. I try not to lose respect for anyone that posts there, and I like to think I'd give a recommended fic a shot- I used to, anyway. Now I read so little fic that I probably wouldn't, no matter where it was posted.
In the fandoms I was in, LJ seemed to be a better place to find decent fic- but since then... it's all just gone downhill. Which is why I don't read anything, anymore.
7. I feel the need to watch a lot of versions of a lot of different songs, just to see how they're handled. I did the same thing- and, honestly? I laugh when they make either girl another guy, for a gay pairing.
9. Not the same pairing, but the idea makes me want to claw my own eyes out, yeah. Not in that fandom, or I'd probably be agreeing 100%
10. Valid point. People that you're directing this to, probably aren't going to agree, though.
12. SIGNED. No, really. What. I couldn't remember book four after I read it, so I assumed I was no longer interested. Never bought five. Reading it now, just to catch up so I can see the movie. Because that's my life, seeing new movies that come out, is about the only social life I have.
13. Whatever does the trick? God, I wish I had inspiration to change the things about me I want to change. Working on it.
16. For me it's Bleach and Naruto. I was interested in Bleach, and when it came on AS I was like "Maybe I can actually watch it, now." but, once it actually got aired I just didn't care. FMA was spoiled all over the place for me too, but I managed to enjoy it somehow anyway. I understand completely, though. I wish my Naruto obsessed fans would shut up about it for fifteen seconds, enough to explain what the hell they just said- and stop telling me everything about the damn show. And linking me to fics I have no interest in reading. I don't want to see hacked up OOC versions of the characters when I'm not familiar with the canon real character. It will horribly mis-construe everything about them, and I wouldn't know what they're really like. It's a scary scary thought, I have a friend that learned about RoyxEd before FMA, and despite everything I said, thought it would turn out canon, before the end of the series. So, yes- Amen. /rant.
18. this secret disturbs me on so many many many levels. Congratulations.
