I've always made it a personal rule that if their hobbies overrule wanting to spend time / do things with me, or are more important to them than me, then it just isn't worth my time and investment at all.
But I make this very clearly known, up front.

I'd suggest just trying to forget about her completely, if you want to get interested in Transformers, again.
It might take a little time, but you should be able to either forget about her or disassociate her actions from it, eventually.
