Literature and film have turned out products that have outlived the cultures that produced them. Gaming is still a niche. It's still defined at its best by cute things like Angry Birds and at its worst by the assholes who sling homophobic slurs in Call of Duty. You've found seventeen games that aren't sexist? That's great! How many of them are the games that outsiders think of when they think of games? What are you doing to make them think of those games? Why, when the homophobes in Call of Duty are all they see, are you mad at THEM for how they see the culture?
