A...lot of things about this secret and and comments make my brain hurt.

If she was ignoring you out of this desire to rp these characters having sex, not spending time with you, etc etc - I can understand that. You want a little more attention in a relationship and that's okay, and if she's refusing to give you any of her time because she only wants to do that, it's a fair reason to say "okay, we need to break up".

If it has to do with this odd mentality that this qualifies as going behind your back/cheating/etc, then ??? she's better off without you. It's a little different when someone is personally cybering with someone else, but ffff other than that it's usually fun fangirl activity. I rp smut all the time. My boyfriend has never gotten bent out of shape because fictional character A is pumping fictional character B into the floor and I'm sitting there giggling over it. And if it becomes wank fodder? ...So? Most sexual people I know have wank fodder.

Emotional cheating? If we go down that route, why stop at smut? People get enjoyment out of all sorts of things with other people, and that certainly extends beyond sex.

Lol, I mentioned this to my boyfriend and asked him if he thought it was cheating, he gave me a 'what the hell did you smoke, I actually don't want any' look and said "nope".
