IA with the goading but outside of the time Sandor stepped between Sansa and Joffrey (when she was considering throwing him off) and protecting her from the crazed city people he wasn't exactly nice to her. I was just really surprised when I saw how popular the pairing was and then I read the book and found it truthfully rather distasteful. He just came off as a creeper and hateful.
