I'm still wondering what went through their heads when they decided "Hey you know what would be totally cool? Have the Avengers and the X-Men beat each other up like schoolkids over conflicting plans! You know what would be totally boring? Having the Avengers and the X-Men team up to kick the asses of a combination of Avengers and X-Men villains and bicker a lot while they do it! Why on earth would we want to see heroes struggling to work together to fight villains? That's just silly! It's not like we just decided to invest a shitload of time and money and effort into and stake our reputations on a summer blockbuster movie about exactly that!"
