Fandoms: Princess Tutu and Chrono Crusade are my two main ones, although I have a full list of favorite anime here to give you an idea of my tastes! I'm mostly into anime and video games. Favorite video games include The World Ends With You, Majora's Mask, Mass Effect (mostly 1 and 2, mixed feelings on 3), Bastion, the Left 4 Dead series, Tales of Symphonia (although I'm really behind on Tales fandom in general--haven't even played the TOS sequel yet), Baten Kaitos and the Dragon Age series. (But when it comes to "fandomy" actives that I do like ficcing, lately I've been mostly sticking to Chrono Crusade and Princess Tutu. I'd like to branch out more eventually...)

Oh, and in general I have a big interest in animation (from all countries), voice actors (mostly North American and Japanese), and I'm starting to get into tabletop RPGs and board games. I tend to think of myself as a "geek of all trades, master of none" since I take an interest in a lot of geeky things but except for a few select cases I tend to get too "ooh shiny" to become particularly good or knowledgeable in any one particular area.

What in fandom interests me: Interesting characters, shipping a ton of things (some totally canon and some completely random), overanalysing characters and themes, finding new series to check out (and helping other people discover new stuff!)

What in fandom does NOT interest me: Ship wars/character wars/fandom wars, social justice-y stuff (I'm sort of interested in this sort of thing, but I hate how fans usually handle it so it's scared me off from really discussing it too much), medium snobbery, etc.

Major Non-fandom Interests: I like to write, and hope to start a blog soon (although that's going to be pretty fandom-y). I really enjoy music, although I don't often get involved in "fandoms" for bands I like (in the sense that I don't tend to write fic for that or anything). I'm also starting to get more interested in fashion and trying to get better about taking care of myself and my appearance, but I'm still a total newb at that.

My LJ/DW Contains Mostly: A mix of journaling about RL, random fandom rambles and some fanfic. And saying "I'm going to work on XYZ" and never actually getting around to it.

Other: I come from an evangelical Christian background and still consider myself a Christian, and I also come from a conservative family, so while I consider myself more moderate than my family I think I'm still overall kind of conservative. So just a heads up? I don't really like talking about politics so I usually just try to keep my mouth shut about that sort of thing, although my religion might come up every now and then.

(That being said, I don't ever want to say things that are ignorant or hurtful, so please feel free to call me out on it if/when I do. And I'm also pro-LGBTA rights so you don't have to worry on that front. I hate how "the church" deals with that, too.)

Oh, on my side of the world we don't study the same way as you guys, we are divided in what we want to do, so I would not be able to get any practical training if I don't apply for that, not that I want to, I want to work behind the scenes, no cameras or artistic stuff for me.

I wouldn't say fancy as it's just the name my university gave it, haha.

I'd like to do something within TV production; I'm taking a screenwriting class now and I really like it, so TV screenwriting's something I'm interested in. I'm also interested in editing, casting, and doing more of the organizational side of things (planning schedules for shoots and whatnot), or working for a TV network in some capacity. We'll see. Well my bachelor is film and television studies (which is he closest I can get it translated to English, directly translated it would be science not studies.) and it does not sound fancy at all even if my university college is known to have the best film and tv courses in Norway.

Definitively something in tv (either BBC or NRK, Norwegian BBC basically) in administration, I would love to one day get to be a producer, but realistically I'll probably not go that far, but one should always aim high. Weirdly enough I would be okay working with reality tv, I have this weird fascination with the genre. I just need two bachelors and a masters to get there, all of which I plan to complete in five years, because I'm getting old, and my student loans run out in exactly five years so I have no choice.

Not a huge slasher, though I will admit to liking a couple ships there. Hardcore kinks (watersports, guro, etc.) do nothing for me and I avoid them when I can.
