I...don't get it. I know some people think she's an 'immortal time traveler' but how? It was shown that she lived through the ages. Did she just port back to the time before life really started on land, land underwater/in mud, and then just come to? Did her device just explode or not come with her?

I also think it's odd that she's so...European looking millions of years before the first humans came to be (Who weren't Caucasian)

I just don't get it. :(

It mainly sounds like you're intellectually aware that standards of beauty are ridiculous, but just being intellectually aware is not always enough to stop what society has been drilling into you your entire life.

Basically it's not your fault OP, but I'd keep thinking about why... I think the deeper you think about why you find it attractive the more ridiculous it seems.

I find conventionally attractive people hot too, but I like a few unconventional beauties. I just let my attractions go where they go.

Really, OP, being able to acknowledge that makes you worlds better than people that are delusional about their weight. Everyone has their set of standards, and thinner people are generally part of everyone's tastes. Don't be ashamed about who you're attracted to.
You don't have to, but if you think you can be even nicer-looking thinner, why not make the effort and lose weight? You don't have to go crazy for an unhealthy weight or the unrealistic beauty, you'll probably feel great about yourself just dropping one or two pant sizes.
